Membership & Cancellation Policy |

General
- Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Membership entitles members to a specified discount off Club 46 events.
- Membership is not compulsory. Non financial members are welcome to attend events; however, non-members will pay the non-member price quoted for events.
- Members will be issued with a membership card and a membership number to use when booking events.
- The membership cards can be used to obtain discounts from the list of suppliers provided.
- Non financial members on posted mailing list must attend one event per quarter to remain on mailing list.
- Wherever possible payment for events must be made prior to the date of the event.
- Members who will be away for more than 4 weeks, due to holidays, work commitments or illness, can "freeze" their membership for that period and extend their membership period by this time. Club 46 Directors must be notified in advance of you wish to freeze your membership.
- There will be no refund of any unused membership if you no longer wish to attend Club 46 events.
Privacy
Club 46 Directors will not provide personal contact information of members to any other party, including other members, without permission.
Code of Conduct
- Club 46 members must refrain from inappropriate behavior that is offensive, illegal, and disruptive or not in the spirit of the event/social day to other members or guests at the venue where the even/social day is being held.
- When attending a Club 46 event/social day you agree that any photographs, film or other image taken of you by Club 46 Directors is with your consent and maybe used in promotion of Club 46 and on the Club 46 website without compensation.
- You acknowledge that you participate in any event/social day at your own risk and Club 46 Directors cannot be held responsible or liable for any actions or consequences.
Cancellation Policy
While we hate to have to enforce too many rules and regulations, this is a social club after all; some times this is just unavoidable.
In order for us to negotiate the best price we can for events and to secure the booking, venues require that we book for a specified number of people and request that we pay a deposit which is based on that amount of people.
Wherever possible we will avoid enforcing cancellation conditions, however, when this is necessary:
- If we do not have enough confirmed bookings by the Book/Pay dates that we advertise we will have to cancel the event or we forfeit part or all of our deposit. Any events that require a minimum number will indicate this on the information provided to members. In this event any payments made by members will be fully refunded or can be applied to an alternative event.
- If members book and pay for an event and cancel 1-3 days prior to the day of the event, wherever possible all or partial payment will be refunded, however, any costs incurred by Club 46 will be deducted from the refund.
- If members book and pay for an event and do not arrive on the day/night of the said event no refunds can be given.
- If a member has booked to attend an event but has not yet paid and fails to attend then the costs incurred by Club 46 must be paid by the member prior to Club 46 accepting a booking from that member for any future events.
