CLUB 46 has been operating in the Illawarra since 2007 providing a social network for over 35’s, married, single or couples.
Liz was the founder of Club 46 because she wanted to establish an event company that provided people over 35 with an opportunity to attend events in the Illawarra and surrounding area. She wanted to provide people with the opportunity to meet other people with similar interests in environments which fostered friendships and a social connection. She saw a future for this business concept in a booming niche market.
Liz has a full time career outside of Club 46, but that career enables her to be exposed to skills and experience that can ultimately benefit Club 46. Liz as an employment consultant is involved in marketing and networking throughout the area. Liz is professional, friendly and encouraging which is why Club 46 continues to grow and expand.
Many new members of Club 46 will say that it can take some time to muster the courage to make that initial call and book in for the first event, but once you have done this you will not look back. Most members say they have carried around the phone number for some months before making the call. Club46 then provides members with the opportunity to meet people and have fun.
In 2009 Club 46 received a “Highly Commended” Award from the Illawarra Women in Business for the services provided to the people of the Illawarra.
Liz is happy to listen to any suggestions on events that members are interested in experiencing, nothing is impossible!
